Ladislav Pavluš

About

Ladislav Pavluš is a Moravian violinist and founder of the Grande Moravia orchestra, which grew from a small cimbalom ensemble into a large ensemble bridging folk tradition with film and popular music. All members are conservatory or music-school graduates; Pavluš himself cites Ennio Morricone as his central artistic inspiration and regularly programmes his film scores. In 2010 he recorded a joint CD with Czech pop legend Karel Gott. Pavluš also serves as director of the Kyjov cultural centre.
