
Grande Moravia - Love Story
The Grande Moravia Orchestra presents a Love Story concert with popular and film music in the stunning setting of Moravský Krumlov Castle.
Ladislav Pavluš is a Moravian violinist and founder of the Grande Moravia orchestra, which grew from a small cimbalom ensemble into a large ensemble bridging folk tradition with film and popular music. All members are conservatory or music-school graduates; Pavluš himself cites Ennio Morricone as his central artistic inspiration and regularly programmes his film scores. In 2010 he recorded a joint CD with Czech pop legend Karel Gott. Pavluš also serves as director of the Kyjov cultural centre.
Grande Moravia orchestra will perform on October 15, 2025 at the Mír 70 cinema in Krnov with a program of film melodies by Ennio Morricone.
In August 2025, the orchestra performed a series of summer concerts of the Love Story program at the castles of Moravský Krumlov and Milotice.
Grande Moravia orchestra started 2025 with a concert in Vsetín.
Another Grande Moravia concert is scheduled for May 19, 2026 at the Máj House of Culture in Pelhřimov.
