Ladislav Fančovič (born 1980 in Trnava) is a Slovak pianist and saxophonist who studied at the Bratislava Conservatory (graduating as best student of the year), the Prague Academy of Music, the Vienna Universität für Musik, and VŠMU Bratislava, where he completed his doctorate in 2010. He performs equally in classical music and jazz, with a repertoire of over 30 piano concertos and regular appearances with the Slovak Philharmonic, the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Prague Chamber Philharmonic. In 2011 he founded the nine-piece swing orchestra Fats Jazz Band, which plays on original 1930s instruments, and in 2014 the Pressburg Saxophone Quartet. He also directs the Golden Age Festival and the Saxophobia Bratislava saxophone masterclasses.

Fančovič performed at the Saxophobia Bratislava 2026 gala concert (January 31 - February 1, 2026) alongside world-renowned saxophonists such as Andreas van Zoelen and Philippe Portejoie.
Fats Jazz Band opened the year with a traditional Epiphany concert in Žilina (January 9, 2026).
Fančovič performed as a soloist at the opening concert of the 60th season of the Bratislava Music Festival with the Slovak Philharmonic under the baton of Wayne Marshall (September 19, 2025).
