Kovacs is the stage name of Dutch singer-songwriter Sharon Kovacs (born 1990, Baarlo), who built her reputation on a deep, smoky alto voice and a dark retro-soul aesthetic. Her debut EP My Love (2014), partly recorded in Cuba, broke through across Europe, and the 2015 album Shades Of Black charted in 36 countries. Three studio albums to date - the latest being Child Of Sin (2023), which features Till Lindemann of Rammstein - have cemented her place on the European soul and alternative scene.
Kovacs released the single Dulce Perro, her second new single after Mycos (2024), thus hinting at the arrival of new music.
Kovacs performed a series of concerts in Poland and Germany, including in Berlin (Metropol) and Hamburg (Mojo Club).
Kovacs has a concert scheduled at the Prague club Roxy on February 23, 2027, and is actively continuing her European tour.
Kovacs is currently touring in 14 countries with 30 scheduled concerts.
