The Koutev Bulgarian National Ensemble (Национален фолклорен ансамбъл "Filip Kutev", also known as the Filip Kutev Ensemble) is a Bulgarian state folk company founded in 1951 by composer Filip Kutev. It became famous for its distinctive female-choir sound and for elaborate arrangements that blend traditional Bulgarian folk songs and dances with Western classical harmony. Singers from the ensemble took part in the album Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares, which won a Grammy in 1989, and the company remains one of Bulgaria's leading cultural ambassadors abroad. In 2026 it marks the 75th anniversary of its founding.
