Kleber Mendonça Filho is a Brazilian film director and screenwriter from Recife. He gained international recognition with Aquarius (2016) and Bacurau (2019), which won the Jury Prize at Cannes. His film I'm Still Here (2024) received four Oscar nominations including Best Picture and won the Golden Globe for Best International Film.
