Keke Palmer (born Lauren Keyana Palmer, August 26, 1993) is an American actress, singer, and television host who has worked in entertainment since childhood. Her breakthrough came with the drama Akeelah and the Bee (2006), followed by years on Nickelodeon in True Jackson, VP and adult roles in Hustlers, Nope, and One of Them Days. She holds two Primetime Emmy Awards and was named one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people in 2019.
Palmer released a visual album Just Keke (18 tracks), which she promoted with a live performance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Palmer won the NAACP Image Award for Entertainer of the Year 2025.
The film One of Them Days, in which Palmer stars alongside SZA, received widespread critical acclaim after its premiere.
Palmer published her second book Master of Me: The Secret to Controlling Your Narrative, combining memoir and practical advice.
Palmer founded the girl group DivaGurl, in which she serves as the lead singer.
