Keanu Charles Reeves (born 1964) is a Canadian actor and musician, globally known for playing Neo in the Matrix trilogy and the title role in the John Wick action franchise. Alongside his film career he plays bass in the alt-rock trio Dogstar, which he co-founded in 1991; the band reunited in 2023 after a two-decade break and has since released two new albums. In 2025 Reeves made his Broadway debut in a revival of Beckett's Waiting for Godot, co-starring with Alex Winter.
