Kathy Najimy (born February 6, 1957) is an American actress, comedian, and activist best known for playing Sister Mary Patrick in Sister Act (1992, 1993), witch Mary Sanderson in Hocus Pocus (1993, 2022), and for voicing Peggy Hill in the animated series King of the Hill (1997-2010, 2025-present). Before her film career she built a following through off-Broadway shows with Mo Gaffney, one of which became an HBO special. She is also a prominent public advocate for women's rights, LGBTQ+ equality, and animal welfare.
Najimy confirmed interest in participating in the third installment of Hocus Pocus, which is in development at Disney Live Action Studios with a planned theatrical release.
Hulu renewed the series King of the Hill for the 16th and 17th seasons; Najimy will return as the voice of Peggy Hill.
The 14th season of King of the Hill premiered on Hulu on August 4, 2025 and recorded 4.4 million views in the first week.
