About
Kaleo is an Icelandic rock band from Mosfellsbær, formed in 2012 and later based in the US after signing with Atlantic Records. Their 2016 album A/B produced the global hit Way Down We Go - now past 1.3 billion Spotify streams - which spread through TV placements in Suits, Yellowstone and beyond. Fronted by JJ Julius Son, the band blends blues rock, folk and soul, and earned a Grammy nomination in 2017 for Best Rock Performance. Their fourth studio album, Mixed Emotions, came out in May 2025 via Atlantic Records.
