Yūko Tanaka (田中裕子, born April 29, 1955 in Ikeda, Osaka Prefecture) is a Japanese actress active since 1979. She became a household name across Asia through the NHK serial Oshin (1983), which set a still-unbroken Japanese TV ratings record of 62.9%. Her film Amagi Pass (1983) earned her Best Actress at the Montreal World Film Festival, and in 2010 she received Japan's Order of the Purple Ribbon.
