Josh O'Connor (born 1990, Cheltenham) is an English actor who broke through with the 2017 film God's Own Country and went on to win an Emmy and a Golden Globe for playing Prince Charles in Netflix's The Crown. He has since built a reputation for range, working with directors such as Luca Guadagnino (Challengers, 2024), Alice Rohrwacher (La chimera, 2023) and Rian Johnson (Wake Up Dead Man, 2025). In summer 2026 he stars opposite Emily Blunt in Steven Spielberg's sci-fi thriller Disclosure Day.
