Jorge Valdano is an Argentine footballer who was on the pitch during the legendary 1986 World Cup quarter-final against England - the match of Maradona's "Hand of God" and Goal of the Century. Valdano scored in that game and went on to lift the trophy with Argentina. After retiring, he moved into sports journalism and management, including a stint as sporting director at Real Madrid.
