John Leguizamo (born 1960 in Bogotá, raised in Queens, New York) is a Colombian-American actor, comedian, and playwright who built his reputation through a string of acclaimed solo shows on Broadway - from Mambo Mouth and Freak to Latin History for Morons - earning a Special Tony Award in 2018 for his body of work. His film career spans over 100 titles, including Carlito's Way, Moulin Rouge!, and the Ice Age franchise (as the voice of Sid); in July 2026 he appears as Eumaeus in Christopher Nolan's epic The Odyssey.
