Joe Perry (born Anthony Joseph Pereira, 1950) is an American guitarist and co-founder of Boston hard rock band Aerosmith, with whom he sold over 150 million albums and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. Alongside Aerosmith he leads his own outfit The Joe Perry Project and is a core member of the supergroup Hollywood Vampires with Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp. Rolling Stone ranked him 84th on their list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time, and in 2013 he and Steven Tyler were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
