Jerad Johnson is the guitarist and backing vocalist of Hemlock, an American heavy metal band from Las Vegas, Nevada. Founded in 1993 by brothers Chad and Brian Smith, the band has released over ten albums across three decades, most recently the twin 2021 records KARMAgeDDOoN and Violence & Victory, mixed and mastered by former Machine Head guitarist Logan Mader. Hemlock built their reputation through relentless touring - roughly eight months a year across the US, Canada, Europe and Japan - and support slots alongside acts such as Slayer, Slipknot and Lamb of God.
Hemlock launched the 'Pigeonholed Spring Tour 2026' with dates in Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico.
The band completed a fall tour of the northwestern USA with stops in Cheyenne, Salt Lake City, and other cities.
Hemlock embarked on the spring 2025 tour together with the band Don Gatto, with dates in Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas.
Hemlock celebrated the 20th anniversary of the album Bleed the Dream with a namesake tour across the USA.
The band released two albums simultaneously - KARMAgeDDOoN and Violence & Victory (a total of 22 new tracks), mixed by producer Logan Mader.
