Jean-Pierre Léaud is a French actor who became the face of the French New Wave through his role as Antoine Doinel in François Truffaut's films, starting with The 400 Blows (1959). He also worked with Godard and Pasolini. In Kaurismäki's La Vie de Bohème (1992) he plays the poet Rodolfo.
