Javier Fesser is a Spanish film director and screenwriter who works across comedy and social drama. He is best known internationally for Campeones (2018), a box-office hit about a basketball team of players with intellectual disabilities. Earlier in his career he directed the popular comic-strip adaptation Mortadelo y Filemón contra Jimmy el Cachondo (2003).
