Jason Schwartzman (born June 26, 1980, Los Angeles) is an American actor, musician, and composer who belongs to the Coppola family - Francis Ford Coppola is his uncle and Nicolas Cage his cousin. He broke through with his debut in Wes Anderson's Rushmore (1998) and has since appeared in eight Anderson films. As a musician he was the drummer of Phantom Planet and since 2007 has released solo recordings under the name Coconut Records.
