Jara Sofija Ostan is a Slovenian actress from Ljubljana who came to acting through theatre and music - she studied at the Conservatory for Music and Ballet and performed with Theatre Saint Jacob. She landed the lead role of Lucija in Urška Djukić's debut feature Little Trouble Girls (2025) shortly after turning sixteen. The film won the FIPRESCI Prize at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival, and Ostan picked up best actress awards at several festivals for her screen debut.
