Jana Krausová (born 25 January 1954 in Prague), née Pehrová, is a Czech actress and visual artist from an artistic family - her father Josef Pehr was a puppeteer and actor at the National Theatre. Rather than drama school, she studied graphic art and painting at Prague's Academy of Fine Arts, yet acting found her anyway: she works in theatre, film and television while maintaining an active studio practice in ceramics and painting. Her longest-running stage partnership is with Karel Roden at Studio DVA; her role in Věra Chytilová's film Hezké chvilky bez záruky (2006) earned her a Czech Lion nomination.
Jana Krausová returned to the TV series Ulice (TV Nova) in the role of school inspector Věra Hádková after a break of more than fifteen years.
