Jan Semotán

About

Jan Semotán is a Czech actor best known for playing Kšanda, the mischievous policeman's son, in Jan Hřebejk's musical comedy Šakalí léta (1993). He was the only member of the cast guaranteed his role from the outset - Hřebejk cast non-actors from dance groups for everyone else, but couldn't picture anyone other than Semotán as Kšanda. He had previously appeared in Trojan's Pějme píseň dohola (1990).
