Jan Pospíšil is a Czech jazz musician who plays alto saxophone and clarinet. He studied at the JAMU music faculty in Brno, where his bachelor's thesis focused on saxophone and clarinet playing styles in early American jazz. He performs with the Originální pražský synkopický orchestr, a group dedicated to authentic 1920s jazz and dance music, and also teaches at the ZUŠ Vrané nad Vltavou music school.
