Pokáč (born Jan Pokorný, 1990, Prague) is a Czech singer-songwriter, lyricist and YouTuber who plays guitar and ukulele. He studied software engineering at CTU Prague and worked as an IT specialist before music took over - a background that colours his lyrics to this day. His songs tackle everyday life with wit and irony, and over a decade he has become one of the most popular Czech folk-pop acts; in 2021 he won the Silver Slavík award and two platinum records.
Pokáč released his first children's album Ovce na pohovce on June 13, 2025, the fifth studio album in his discography with 14 tracks.
On May 16, 2026, a special children's concert Pokáčova dětská O2 arena is planned at the Prague O2 Arena for the presentation of the album Ovce na pohovce.
Pokáč's charitable foundation Hudba je pro všechny successfully completed its first year - over the year it supported more than 200 children from disadvantaged families.
Pokáč was a guest on Jana Krause's show (April 2025), where he talked about the Vesnice tour 2025 and his intention to perform in small villages.
Pokáč announced the creation of the charitable foundation Hudba je pro všechny, to which he committed to contributing one million crowns per year for five years.
