Jan Čoňka is a Czech guitarist who moves between classical repertoire and swing. He studied at the Pardubice Conservatory and then at HAMU in Prague, where he received the Minister of Education Award for 2021. In 2021 he won the top category of the Visegrad Guitar Competition, beating players from 21 countries. He performs both as a soloist and in chamber ensembles.
