Jan Čejka (born 29 May 2001 in Pardubice) is a Czech backstroke swimmer who in 2019 became the first Czech ever to win gold at the World Junior Championships, taking the 50m backstroke title in Budapest. He competed at the Tokyo Olympics and has since re-emerged as a top-level senior: at the 2025 European Short Course Championships he claimed bronze in the 200m backstroke - the first Czech men's medal at that event since 2003 - and at the 2025 World Championships in Singapore he finished sixth, both swims in new Czech records.
At the World Championships in Singapore, Čejka finished sixth in the 200 m backstroke with a time of 1:55.37 - a new Czech record and the best result by a Czech man at the World Championships in pool swimming since 2003.
At the European Championships in the short course pool in Lublin, Čejka won bronze in the 200 m backstroke with a new Czech record of 1:49.43 - the first Czech men's medal at this championship since 2003.
In the poll for the best Czech swimmer of 2025, Čejka came second behind Barbora Seemanová; both train in the group of American coach Tom Rushton.
At the World Championships in the short course pool in Budapest, Čejka advanced to the final in the 200 m backstroke, where he finished eighth.
