About

Jakub Pustina is a Czech operatic tenor from Žďár nad Sázavou. He studied chemistry before deciding to become an opera singer at the age of 21. Peter Dvorský gave him his first operatic engagement and named him his successor. Over a career spanning more than two decades, he has become one of a rare few singers worldwide capable of tackling the demanding title role in Wagner's Tristan.
