Jáchym Topol is a Czech writer, poet and journalist, born in 1962 in Prague. He was part of the underground scene and co-founded the samizdat magazine Revolver Revue. He is known for novels such as Sestra (1994) and several poetry collections. He wrote the lyrics for Monika Načeva's album Nebe je rudý (1996).
