Ivo Kahánek is a Czech pianist with a strong presence on both the domestic and international concert circuit. He is particularly associated with Czech repertoire - above all the piano works of Leoš Janáček and Bohuslav Martinů - though his programmes range from Baroque to contemporary music. He also teaches at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
