Legendary Czech pianist Ivan Klánský performs at the inaugural International Piano Festival Dvůr Králové.
Ivan Klánský is a Czech pianist and laureate of numerous international competitions, including those in Bolzano, Leipzig, Warsaw, and Fort Worth. He was a soloist of the Czech Philharmonic from 1980 to 1990 and has given over four thousand concerts on four continents. He recorded the complete piano works of Bedřich Smetana for the Danish label Kontrapunkt, and has taught at the Prague Academy of Performing Arts (AMU) for over thirty years.
