Ingvild Lien (born 1977) is a Norwegian actress, director and choreographer who works across Scandinavian and international film and television. She trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA) in London and is a specialist in stage and screen combat. Best known for the series Ragnarok, Mammon and Torpedo, she appeared in 2026 in Cristian Mungiu's Fjord, which won the Palme d'Or at Cannes.
The film Fjord directed by Cristian Mungiu, in which Lien plays the main sister Mathilde, won the Golden Palm and four other awards at the Cannes festival in 2026.
Lien directed the production Amanda Freyer at Det Norske Mikroteatret and participated in the production of My Name is Lucy Barton for Teater Vestland.
Filming of the film Fjord began in March 2025 in the Norwegian Hjørundfjorden.
