Ingrid Bergman (1915-1982) was a Swedish actress whose career spanned five decades across film, theatre and television. She rose to global fame as Ilsa Lund in Casablanca (1942) and won three Academy Awards - for Gaslight, Anastasia and Murder on the Orient Express. The American Film Institute ranked her the fourth greatest female screen legend in American cinema history.
