About

Inferno is a Czech black metal band from Karviná, active since 1995. Over three decades they have released nine studio albums, moving from raw pagan black metal to avant-garde, industrially tinged soundscapes on the French label Debemur Morti Productions. They rank among the most enduring and respected acts in the Czech extreme metal underground, with a track record of touring across Europe and beyond.

    Inferno releases their ninth studio album "The Anthropic Sophisms (On the Heights of Despair)" on July 17, 2026 on the Debemur Morti Productions label.
