Hugh John Mungo Grant (born 9 September 1960 in London) is an English actor and producer who won a Golden Globe and BAFTA for Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994) and also holds an Honorary César. After defining the 1990s romantic comedy with films like Notting Hill and Love Actually, he reinvented himself as a character actor - playing villains and eccentrics in Paddington 2, Wonka, and the A24 horror Heretic (2024). His films have collectively grossed over $4.4 billion worldwide.
