Tsui Hark is a Hong Kong director, producer and screenwriter, a central figure of the Hong Kong New Wave. His 1983 film Zu Warriors from the Magic Mountain pushed the boundaries of local special effects and revived the wu-xia genre for modern audiences. He also produced the Once Upon a Time in China series with Jet Li.
