About
Hardline is an American melodic hard rock band formed in California in 1991 by brothers Johnny and Joey Gioeli. Their debut album Double Eclipse (1992) - recorded with Journey guitarist Neal Schon and drummer Deen Castronovo - is widely regarded as a classic of the genre. Johnny Gioeli has been the sole constant member through numerous lineup changes, and in April 2026 the band released their eighth studio album, Shout, on Steamhammer/SPV.
