Harald Zwart (born 1965) is a Dutch-Norwegian film director who grew up in Fredrikstad, Norway. He trained at the Dutch Film Academy in Amsterdam and built his early reputation directing commercials and music videos, including clips for a-ha. He broke through internationally with the 2010 remake of The Karate Kid, starring Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan, and later directed the Norwegian WWII thriller The 12th Man (2017).
