Hana Hendrychová

Hana Hendrychová (born 1975 in Domažlice) is a Czech film director, screenwriter and producer. She founded the production company NoWorries in 1997 and spent years making TV programmes for Czech Television and TV Prima, as well as international co-productions with partners in the USA, UK and Venezuela. Her directorial debut, the drama Můj příběh (2019), was released in over 25 countries and reached Amazon Prime in North America. Her second feature, Matka v trapu (2024), was one of the most-watched Czech films of the year and topped the Netflix charts for three weeks after its streaming release.
