Gregory Peck was an American film actor and one of Hollywood's most prominent stars of the 1940s–70s. He is best known for playing morally upright heroes, most notably lawyer Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird (1962), a role that earned him the Academy Award for Best Actor. In Roman Holiday (1953) he starred as journalist Joe Bradley opposite Audrey Hepburn.
