
Ballet "Swan Lake" in Prague
Grand Royal Classical Ballet, directed by Marcin Rolczyński, performs a traditional staging of Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake" at Divadlo Hybernia.
Grand Royal Classical Ballet (also known as Królewski Balet Klasyczny / European Royal Classical Ballet) is a Polish independent ballet company formally established in 2022 by dancer and choreographer Marcin Rolczyński, a graduate of the Gdańsk ballet school and a long-standing member of the Poznań Grand Theatre ballet. The company brings together over 35 soloists from Poland and abroad, rooted in the academic classical tradition. Its four-title repertoire - Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Giselle, and Tango-show - tours Poland, Europe, the United States, and China.
The ensemble performed The Nutcracker accompanied by the Torun Symphony Orchestra at CKK Jordanki in Torun (December 13, 2025).
The ensemble continued an extensive tour of Polish cities with a production of The Nutcracker - stops include, among others, Szczecin, Krakow, Warsaw, Gdansk, Lodz, Poznan, and Katowice.
The ensemble's Swan Lake was performed at the Prague theater Hybernia and in Brno.
The ensemble was formally established in 2022 as the first and effectively only commercial ballet ensemble in Poland.
