Jun Ji-hyun, known internationally as Gianna Jun, is a South Korean actress and model and one of the most recognizable figures in Korean popular culture. She broke through with the romantic comedy My Sassy Girl (2001) and went on to star in hit dramas such as My Love from Another Star and Legend of the Blue Sea, becoming a leading face of the Korean Wave (Hallyu). After several years away from acting, she returned in 2025 with the Disney+ series Tempest and, in May 2026, made her first film appearance in eleven years with Colony, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
