Garret Dillahunt is an American actor who built his reputation across prestige television and independent film, often in morally complex or Western-inflected roles. He is perhaps best known for playing two entirely different characters in HBO's Deadwood, and for supporting parts in the Coen Brothers' No Country for Old Men and Steve McQueen's 12 Years a Slave. On the comedy side, he earned a Critics' Choice nomination for his lead role in Fox's Raising Hope. In 2026 he returned to HBO in the DC series Lanterns, playing the enigmatic rancher William Macon.
