Gabriele Ferzetti (born Pasquale Ferzetti; 17 March 1925 - 2 December 2015) was an Italian actor whose career spanned more than seven decades and over 160 screen and stage credits. He rose to international prominence as the restless playboy Sandro in Michelangelo Antonioni's L'Avventura (1960), a performance widely regarded as a landmark of Italian art cinema. He is also remembered for playing the crippled railroad baron Morton in Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) and crime boss Marc-Ange Draco in the James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969).
