Fulci is a death metal band from Caserta, Italy, named after cult horror director Lucio Fulci. Founded in 2013, the band structures each album as a concept tribute to one of his films - from the debut Opening the Hell Gates (2015) through the breakthrough Tropical Sun (2019) to the fourth record Duck Face Killings (2024), released on American label 20 Buck Spin. Live, they deploy a drum machine, film samples and synths to turn every show into a theatrical horror spectacle.
Fulci announced a 33-date co-headlining European tour with Master Boot Record in autumn 2026, covering 16 countries.
The band could not perform as an opener for Cryptopsy on the Decibel Magazine Tour in North America due to visa issues.
Fulci were confirmed as the opener for Sanguisugabogg on the European and British tour in February 2026.
The band performed at the Obscene Extreme festival in the Czech Republic.
Fulci released their fourth album Duck Face Killings on the 20 Buck Spin label - a tribute to Fulci's film The New York Ripper.
