Freddie Mercury was a British singer and songwriter, best known as the frontman of the rock band Queen. He was celebrated for his extraordinary vocal range and electrifying stage presence. He wrote some of rock's most iconic songs, including Bohemian Rhapsody and We Are the Champions. He died in 1991.
