Faye Wong (王菲, born 8 August 1969 in Beijing) is a Chinese singer-songwriter and actress, widely known in Chinese media as "the Diva". In 2000, Guinness World Records recognised her as the best-selling Cantonese-pop female artist, with total record sales exceeding 9.7 million. She built a massive following across Southeast Asia and Japan - becoming the first Chinese singer to perform at Tokyo's Budokan - and is known in the West chiefly for "Eyes on Me", the theme song of Final Fantasy VIII. She also starred in Wong Kar-wai's films Chungking Express and 2046.
Faye Wong performed at CCTV Spring Festival Gala 2026 with the ballad "A Moment We Go Through" - it was her sixth appearance at this festival.
