Fabio Quartararo (born 20 April 1999 in Nice) is a French motorcycle racer who in 2021 became the first Frenchman to win the MotoGP World Championship. He started riding at age four, honed his craft in Spain, and made his MotoGP debut in 2019 with Petronas Yamaha - taking seven podiums and Rookie of the Year in his first season. Known as 'El Diablo', he races for Monster Energy Yamaha and is set to leave the team after 2026 for a move to Honda.
