Fabien Nury (born 31 May 1976) is a French comics writer with over sixty albums to his name. He gained international recognition with the satirical diptych La Mort de Staline (2010-2012, art by Thierry Robin), which Armando Iannucci adapted into a film in 2017 starring Steve Buscemi. Nury also created the award-winning historical series Il était une fois en France (2007-2012, art by Sylvain Vallée) and the noir thriller series Tyler Cross (from 2013, art by Brüno), which won the Prix BD Fnac/France Inter.
In April 2025, the fourth installment of the Charlotte impératrice series was released (artist Matthieu Bonhomme, publisher Dargaud).
On April 2, 2025, Nury and artist Brünem released the first installment of the new series Electric Miles - Tome 01 : Wilbur (Glénat), a fantastic noir set in Los Angeles in 1949.
In 2024, Nury contributed to the album Comment faire fortune en juin 40, a tribute to 1960s cinema.
