Alexander Krasovitsky (born 8 June 1972 in Magnitogorsk) is the frontman, lyricist and main composer of the St. Petersburg rock band Animal ДжаZ, which he co-founded in 2000. Over 25 years the band became a fixture of Russian alternative rock, winning two RAMP awards in 2007, the iTunes Russia best rock album of 2015, and two Chartova Duzhina prizes for album and song of the year. Alongside Animal ДжаZ, Krasovitsky runs the minimalist duo Zero People with keyboardist Alexander Zarankin.
The band Animal ДжаZ released the single "Nad Nevou" (Scang tribute) - their latest studio work.
The band performed concerts in Israel - in Tel Aviv (17.9.) and Haifa (18.9.2025).
Animal ДжаZ completed a European Piano Version tour with stops in Tallinn, Helsinki, Vienna, Barcelona, and Hamburg.
The band released the single and music video "Celuyu" (Целую), in which Krasovicky played the role of a waiter; the video was directed by Kira Kirienko.
In February 2025, the band released the single "V ad" (В ад) with a dark, chilling atmosphere.
