Emma Watson (born 15 April 1990 in Paris) is a British actress who rose to global fame as a child playing Hermione Granger across all eight Harry Potter films. Beyond the franchise she starred in The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), Beauty and the Beast (2017) and Little Women (2019). Since 2014 she has served as a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador and co-launched the HeForShe gender-equality campaign; in 2023 she began a creative-writing degree at the University of Oxford.
Emma Watson joined the jury of Prix Versailles 2025, an international award for architecture and design, alongside artists such as Lang Lang and Iris van Herpen.
