Emília Vášáryová is a Slovak actress who made her film debut as the acrobat Diana in Vojtěch Jasný's Až přijde kocour (1963), a fantasy film that won a Special Jury Prize at Cannes. She went on to build a long career on stage and screen, closely associated with the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava. Her sister Magda Vášáryová is also a well-known actress.
